Housing Vouchers and Your Application
Longmont Property Group complies with Colorado’s (C.R.S. § 24-34-502), which prohibits housing providers from refusing to rent to someone solely based on the fact they use a housing voucher, such as Section 8 or other government assistance programs.
We welcome applications from all voucher holders, but applications must include:
- Full rental application for each person over 18 that will reside in the home
- Government-issued photo ID for each person over 18 that will reside in the home
- Proof of income (if applicable)
- Completed pet or assistance animal profile (if applicable)
- Voucher documents
- Contact information for your caseworker
- Landlord verification
Please note: We can and will continue to accept and process other applications until we receive written confirmation from your caseworker that your paperwork has been approved and the unit is authorized.
To give yourself the best chance:
- Submit all documents promptly
- Maintain communication with your caseworker
- Follow up on your application status
We want to work with you—but we also need to treat all applicants fairly and keep the rental process moving. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
